MORTAL TRASH IS IMMORTAL DIAMOND 1975

‘Mortal Trash is Immortal Diamond’ is the unlikely name of a photographic exhibition by Warren Breninger and Godwin Bradbeer at Brummels Gallery in Melbourne…It is an exhibition which uses photography in conjunction with poetry and a seemingly haphazard layout to convey brutal, sensitive, naive, sophisticated impressions about this society from the standpoint of two young and visually articulate people… Perhaps there is some trash here but the diamonds shine too brightly.’
